Downsizing By Design

1. We meet with your family and decide what items you want to keep, sell, and give to your family or friends We also provide a floor plan that is numbered with the placement of furniture, pictures etc.

2. Establish where you want to take your items that are no longer needed. First family have the first pick, Then we take then to a thrift store, donation, or an antique store, etc .We can arrange to have these things taken away and delivered so your move is not so overwhelming on moving day.

3. Help you pack the smaller items. What a job!

4. Show the movers where to place things in the new home.

 

5. Seeing if the new space is handicap accessible, installing bars in the bathroom and making other suggestions. We have contractors for this.

​

6.Selecting paint colors and hiring painters to come paint the job before or after you move in.

​

7. If interested, meeting with contractors to discuss remodeling the kitchen or bathroom. 

​

8. Meet withFamily members to discuss changes and review safety suggestions.

​

9. Final review and walk through with the home owner and family. 

​

Every job is different and cannot be priced until

seeing your current home as well as floor  plans for the new home.
